Product Description
The original Twin Tipped Fred Perry Shirt. A piece of British subcultural uniform, made in England for 60 years. Designed with a straight fit, in our signature cotton piqué.
Made in England / Cotton piqué / Twin tipped collar and cuffs / Two button placket / Flat hem
Made in Leicester, England, the M12 hasn’t changed since it was originally designed by Fred in the ‘50s. Legend has it, our twin tipping came about when a buyer from Lillywhites requested the addition of football team colours to Fred’s plain-colour tennis shirt. Only we use tipping in the ratio 5-4-4 and it’s a part of our DNA. This was the piece that took us from sportswear to streetwear, and with the same design details as the original, it’s a true piece of subcultural uniform. The colour palette matches the distinctive shade of blue found on Brighton’s seafront promenade.
